Hemnesberget
At Ranheimbrygga, you will find a large collection of boat engines and maritime artefacts.
One of the oldest houses, Per Smedstua, contains a toy exhibition. Kirkebua was used as accomodation for people who had to travel long distances to participate in church activites during weekends. The tourist information office is located in the Kristian Kiosk at the town centre.
In Leirskardalen, you can enjoy a taste of the lokal and unique Kamkake and a cup of coffie. The tradisjonal Kamkake is produced and served at Eldhuset, Jamtjord.
Bjerka Village Green/open air museum
Feel free to visit Bjerka Village Green, dating back to approximately 1550.
